The District Cultural Center (DCC) is a non-profit
organization run by four municipalities in the Þingeyjar Counties in the Northeast Iceland. The
organization operates seven museum collections which belong to the district i.e. within fine art, natural history, maritime, local history and photographs. The objects are on display and preservation in four Museums and exhibition venues, with a total of seven exhibition gallerie. DCC also manages the regional district archives
