NICHE Training includes training content and materials accompanied by sources and resources (like operational examples, cases studies, good practices, guidelines and taxonomy) for entrepreneurship and socio-economic empowerment in the topic of intangible cultural heritage.
NICHE Training addresses the constraints and needs identified in the project proposal and further corroborated in IO2: the current state of play assessment confirms the need to define and deliver operational and easy-to-use training to advance the professionalisation of the Intangible Cultural Heritage sector as a whole.
The definitive structure of NICHE Training and relevant training will be finalised during implementation of IO3. It will also be based on IO2 results. A tentative structure has already been defined as follows:
Portable and easy to access formats will be usedrather than long and traditional handouts (in the format of papers, documents, etc.). NICHE will provide Portable Document Formats, PPT, short videos if possible and relevant, auto-evaluation models including multiple choice self-administered tests. The format of the training and layout of handouts/training materials will be further discussed by the partners during the project to guarantee access, relevance and ease of use in diverse operational environments and delivery modes (traditional, face-to-face, blended).
The topics to be developed for the NICHE training have been initially identified through the need’s assessment and analysis of the state of play in the following topics:
More specific topics and themes will be further identified at implementation stage and also from the results of IO2, so the list above is tentative and not final. IO3 will be developed in English and then adapted and translated in the other languages of the partners to address the multilingualism challenge and guarantee the widest access possible (EL, ES, IS, IT, SE) while providing for appropriate transferability and uptake during and after the NICHE project.
Partners will also pilot and test the NICHE training in real-life scenarios involving the target groups to validate NICHE training and its materials in off-line and digital versions.
NICHE will be delivered to at least 180 target groups. This is a relevant and significant target value to validate NICHE and collect feedback on design, relevance and features of the NICHE training.
